Boroli is a family winery in Castiglione Falletto, in the Langhe, where Achille Boroli produces Bel Ami, the estate's Chardonnay, first made in 1997 and named after Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel. The wine comes from about one hectare on the north slope of Brunella; grapes are hand-harvested with cluster selection on a sorting table, undergo cryomaceration, then ferment in steel before a brief period of oak aging.
