Profile & Story
Founded in 1947 by oenologist Umberto Bortolotti in the heart of Valdobbiadene, Cantine Umberto Bortolotti is now run by son Bruno and grandson Daniele, and is among the few Prosecco producers still harvesting entirely by hand. This Brut is crafted from 100% Glera grown in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG on clay, sandstone and marl soils, undergoing secondary fermentation in autoclave before resting in bottle prior to release.
Tasting Notes
The wine shows characteristic varietal aromas in a clean, refined style, with pronounced notes of pear. The palate carries a lively mousse and a crisp finish.
