Profile & Story
George Skouras founded Domaine Skouras in 1986 after studying oenology in Dijon and working in Champagne and Italy, relocating the winery to Malandreni, near Nemea PDO, in 2004. This Moscofilero (PGI Arcadia) comes from vines averaging 34 years old grown on sandy soils at 2,400 feet in Mantinia, hand-harvested; grapes see skin contact, ferment in stainless steel, and age on fine lees for 4 months with no malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Light white-yellow in color, the wine offers opulent, light and fresh aromas of white flowers and honeysuckle rounded out with citrus and lime notes; medium- to full-bodied on the palate with refreshing, vigorous acidity.
