La Giustiniana is a Piedmont estate in Rovereto di Gavi, the geographical heart of the Gavi DOCG, reborn in 2016 under owners Magda Pedrini and Stefano Massone with winemaker Cristian Pomo, focused on expressing the purity of the native Cortese grape. The Terre Antiche bottling is 100% Cortese from Guyot-trained vines averaging 15 years old, grown on calcareous clay soils, fermented in stainless steel and aged three months on the lees.
Tasting Notes
Rounded aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, and sun-warmed Meyer lemon, with an energetic palate of juicy nectarine and orchard fruit balanced by vibrant acidity, closing with notes of slate and wet gravel.
