Profile & Story
Xavier Weisskopf founded Le Rocher des Violettes in 2005 in Montlouis-sur-Loire, acquiring old-vine Chenin Blanc parcels farmed organically since 2008. This cuvee is sourced from a section of the Touche Mitaine parcel planted with vines over 60 years old, fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity of fruit.
Tasting Notes
Fresh green apple, chalk, and clover-flower aromas lead into a dry, texturally generous palate with refreshing acidity, offering a pure, mineral-driven expression of old-vine Chenin Blanc.
