Sparkling Pointe is a family-owned estate on the North Fork of Long Island founded by Cynthia and Tom Rosicki, farming over 40 acres of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay for wines made exclusively in the traditional methode champenoise. The 2022 Topaz Imperial is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, aged on the lees for a year and a half before disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
Named for the rare gemstone, Topaz Imperial shows a pinkish, light-orange hue with beautifully perfumed aromas of strawberry, elderflower and pastry cream carried by a pillowy mousse. Lingering flavors of honeydew melon and stone fruit with a subtle hint of rosewater finish silky and balanced by lively bubbles.
