Profile & Story

Torre de Ona, part of the La Rioja Alta group, was founded in 1987 in Rioja Alavesa. Finca San Martin is 100% Tempranillo from the estate's younger vines, fermented in stainless steel and matured in a mix of new American and second-use French oak barrels, with manual rackings during elevage.

Tasting Notes

Intense, bright ruby red in color; fleshy and fruit-driven on the palate, ripe without excess, with very good freshness, glossy tannins, and a gentle mouthfeel. Notes of red and black plums, red cherries, vanilla, baking spice, and a smoky touch carry through to a long finish.
