Profile & Story

A Premier Cru Classe estate in Barsac under the 1855 classification, Chateau Coutet has been owned by the Baly family since 1977. The 35-hectare vineyard is planted to approximately 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, and 2% Muscadelle.

Tasting Notes

Golden-hued, with honeyed apricot, pineapple, and honeysuckle aromas leading to a rich, botrytis-touched palate and a long, smoky-vanilla finish.
