Far Mountain's Fission Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from 50-plus-year-old, dry-farmed, own-rooted vines at the certified-organic Alta Vista Vineyard in Sonoma's Moon Mountain District, planted in volcanic soils of basalt and decomposed granite. The 2021 was made by winemakers Mai Errazuriz and Rodrigo Soto.

Tasting Notes

Complex and dramatic, with pine needle and bay leaf framing wild mountain berries and mineral notes of pencil lead and iron.
