Weingut Lagler is a family winery in Spitz an der Donau in the Wachau, Austria, growing grapes on the estate since 1789 and making its own wine since the late 1970s. This Gruner Veltliner Federspiel comes from the Ried Burgberg vineyard near the 1000-Eimerberg site in Spitz, on clay, sand and marl soils at roughly 230m elevation, from vines 30 to 50 years old. Grapes are hand-picked, then fermented and aged in stainless steel, finishing at 12.5% ABV.
