Domaine Lagille has been a vigneron family at Treslon since 1818. L'Inattendue - 'the unexpected' - is a Champagne made for pleasure and produced exclusively from the terroir of Treslon. Its name comes from the rarity of an entry-range cuvee made from a single grape variety: this is 100% Pinot Meunier, the estate's principal variety, grown on clay-limestone soils, aged on the lees for 36 to 42 months and dosed at 7 g/L.
