Domaine Florent Garaudet is a grower's estate based in Monthelie, on the Cote de Beaune between Volnay and Meursault. Monthelie is a small red-dominated appellation of the Cote de Beaune whose Pinot Noirs are traditionally framed as lighter-boned neighbours of Volnay, grown on limestone slopes and known for perfumed red fruit and firm structure at approachable prices. This bottling is the domaine's Monthelie Vieilles Vignes, a red Burgundy made from old-vine Pinot Noir. No producer-published description of the cuvee was available at the time of writing.
