Profile & Story

Champagne Telmont describes Reserve de la Terre as the visionary culmination of a decade's worth of dreams and dedication - the house's organic champagne and the uninhibited, exquisite expression of its terroir. Made from 100% certified organic grapes, the release detailed on Telmont's own product page comes entirely from Damery, blending 66% Chardonnay and 34% Meunier from the 2017 harvest. The fruit is pressed without added sulfites and vinified without added sulfites in stainless steel vats with malolactic fermentation; the wine was bottled in June 2018, spent three years in the cellars, was disgorged in 2021 and is dosed at 5.9 g/L.

Tasting Notes

Delicate gold with subtle reflections of pistachio green. The first nose detects a bouquet of spiced almonds and violet floral tones, which precedes the revelation of a richer aroma, that of baked mirabelle. Harmonious on the palate, hints of candied lemon intertwine with almond and marzipan, and a delicate tension marked by a mature freshness culminates in a remarkable finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Telmont recommends black truffle, and a service temperature of 8 C.
