Les Tourelles de Pichon Baron (formerly Les Tourelles de Longueville) is one of the second wines of Château Pichon Baron in Pauillac, named after the château’s turrets; its grapes come predominantly from the Merlot-planted Sainte-Anne plot.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with spice and ripe black fruit, evolving toward undergrowth and liquorice. The attack is broad and silky, the palate marked by sweetness of fruit and generosity, with flavours of spice, blackberry and peony before a classic Pauillac finish.
