“Lirica” is a flagship Primitivo di Manduria from Produttori di Manduria, Puglia’s oldest active wine cooperative (founded 1928), made from old alberello and espalier-trained vines.
Tasting Notes
Medium-deep ruby; an intense, elegant nose of ripe dark fruit, cherry and plum with sweet spices (ginger, aniseed) and discreet oak. Dry and medium- to full-bodied, with a rounded texture, elegant tannin and balanced freshness, finishing long, broad and spicy.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs with aubergine parmigiana, fillet steak au poivre, crusted roast beef, roast lamb with potatoes and herbs, and medium-aged cheeses; serve at 16–18°C.
