Vietti is a family-run winery based in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of Barolo country, guided by a philosophy the estate describes as moving "from the origins to today, towards the future, with care and vision." The Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco is a 100% Nebbiolo wine classified as Langhe D.O.C., made from grapes grown across several selected vineyard sites mostly in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas. Each parcel is vinified and aged separately — fermented over three to four weeks at a controlled 28-32°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel tanks and/or barriques — before the winery selects which lots will go into the Langhe Nebbiolo and which will continue aging toward Barolo. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages a further 18 to 20 months in wood, in both barriques and large barrels, and is then blended in steel before bottling.
