Petit Mont is an independent winery in the mountains of southeastern Yunnan, run by the couple Ma Jie and Yu Qian. The winery works in the Shangri-La region, a high-altitude wine-growing area where the borders of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet converge along the valleys of the Lancang and Jinsha rivers — among the highest-altitude vineyard areas in the world. Baima Snow Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% varietal wine grown in this high-altitude terroir.
