Cave de Ribeauville is a growers' cooperative in Ribeauville, Alsace, one of the oldest in France (founded 1895). This Giersberger cuvee Cremant d'Alsace Rose is made from 100% hand-harvested Pinot Noir, vinified by the traditional method with a second fermentation in bottle, then aged a minimum of 12 months on lees before disgorgement; dosage of 9 g/l places it in the Brut category.
Tasting Notes
Tangy, aromatic notes of red fruit and apple on the nose; round, soft and refreshing on the palate, dry with an impression of ripe red apples on the finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Recommended as an aperitif or with cocktails, cold buffets, and red-fruit desserts such as raspberry or strawberry.
