Profile & Story

Ganeta is a family-run Getariako Txakolina winery on the Basque coast near Getaria, farming 17 hectares of Hondarrabi Zuri (85%) and Hondarrabi Beltza (15%) on traditional pergolas since the late 1980s (Julian Ostolaza and Itziar Etxeberria; now run by the next generation, Paula and Enaitz Ostolaza). Fruit is destemmed, briefly skin-soaked, then fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel at low temperature to preserve natural CO2; sustainably farmed. 11% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Salty lime on the nose and equally oceanic on the palate; intense kefir-lime character, bracing fresh acidity and a light, low-alcohol frame with the classic gentle spritz of Getariako Txakolina.
