Quinta do Correio is the second-label range of Quinta dos Roques, a family-owned estate in Mangualde, in Portugal's Dao region -- named for an old post office near the vineyards in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela. This Tinto is a blend of Jaen (40%), Alfrocheiro (30%), Touriga Nacional (20%) and Tinta Roriz (10%), destemmed and fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts at 28-30C and an 11-day maceration; 10% of the blend is aged in oak barrels for added structure before a light filtration and bottling. 13.0% ABV.
