Weingut Schodl is a certified-biodynamic (Respekt, since 2024) family estate in the Weinviertel, run by siblings Mathias, Viktoria and Leonhard Schodl across 18 hectares. Their 'Fruhstuckswein' ('breakfast wine') is a skin-contact blend of roughly 30% Gruner Veltliner, 30% Welschriesling, 20% Weissburgunder and 20% Roter/Gelber Muskateller; the Muskateller portion spends about 10 days on skins before the rest of the fruit is direct-pressed, with fermentation and 7 months of aging split between stainless steel, 500L neutral oak barrels and a large oak cask. Bottled in a 1-liter format.
