Profile & Story

Niepoort's Docil comes from over-20-year-old Loureiro vines on granite soils in the Lima Valley sub-region of Vinho Verde, farmed organically/biodynamically. Whole bunches are gently pressed, settled, and fermented cool in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, then aged 5 months in steel.

Fresh, floral and citrus-driven with aromatic herb notes, bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.
