Profile & Story

Bodega Castillo de Monjardin was founded in 1988 by Victor del Villar Tolosa and his wife Sonia Olano, on an estate in the San Esteban zone of Tierra Estella, Navarra, along the Pyrenees foothills on the old pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. 'Los Altos' Tempranillo Seleccion is a Crianza aged in oak barrels, made from grapes off the bodega's own family vineyards.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby-red with sumptuous aromas of red cherries, plums and wild berries; a Crianza-style Tempranillo with a rounded, oak-aged structure.
