Terrazas de los Andes, founded in 1999 and part of the Moet Hennessy (LVMH) portfolio, builds its wines around altitude-driven viticulture in Mendoza, Argentina. Altos del Plata is 100% Malbec from the Cordon del Plata vineyard terrace at 1,067m elevation in the Andean foothills, aged 8 months in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Predominant aromas of black fruits -- plum and berries -- in harmony with toasted hints and spicy notes of white pepper; fruit-forward with structure from the oak aging.
