Profile & Story
At the foot of the mountains in the Cachapoal Andes Valley, it is impossible to resist the fascinating beauty and absolute power of this imposing mountain range. One of the brightest stars is Altair, especially visible in August and September. Inspired by the stars, we decided to plant our vines in the Cachapoal Andes Valley, even higher up the foothills. This is a place where the terroir was shaped by volcanic eruptions and violent earthquakes dating back millions of years, where the sun shines a little brighter and the cold nighttime temperatures provide grapes with greater fruit concentration and exquisite tannins. Our star is not up in the sky, but at the base of the Andes, deeply rooted in this ancient soil. Altair, the star of the Andes.
Tasting Notes
Color: Deep ruby red. Nose: Intense aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherries, combined with a subtle note of oak that is perfectly integrated into the wine. Palate: Good acidity, with a concentrated palate and a well-balanced structure between alcohol, body, and tannins. Smooth texture with a long finish.
