Bouza Riesling Pan de Azúcar
2024, Pan de Azúcar, Maldonado, Uruguay
Profile & Story
Bodega Bouza is a family winery with a clear focus: quality above all. Every wine we produce comes exclusively from our own grapes. We own more vineyards than we need. This gives us the freedom to select only the finest grapes from each harvest, and sell what doesn't meet our standards. We farm five vineyards in the regions of Montevideo, Canelones and Maldonado, each bringing its own character and expression to our wines. This diversity of terroir is something we actively celebrate, crafting wines that speak clearly of where they come from. Our portfolio spans both white and red varieties: Albariño, Chardonnay, Riesling, Semillón, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo and Tannat, a range that reflects the remarkable versatility of Uruguay's wine-growing conditions. In our continued pursuit of excellence, we have recently built Las Espinas, our second winery, located at one of our Maldonado vineyards, a region whose cooler Atlantic influence is opening exciting new possibilities in our wines.
