The Keeper of the Winds, was seduced by a four-hectare vineyard on the northern bank of the Mendoza River in Luján de Cuyo at a privileged point 983 meters above sea level. This vineyard planted in 1912 is the origin of Eolo's Malbec grapes. Soil, its winds, water, and man's guiding hands have tended the centenary vineyard for generations so that each vintage reveals the terroir's true expression. SINGLE VINEYARD The soil is loamy sand with horizontal bands of clay loam. Due to its alluvial formation, gravels appear beginning at depths of 90 cm to meters.
Tasting Notes
Appearence: vivid purplish red with bluish highlights Aroma: on the nose, it is penetrating and complex with fruity notes of cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, along with subtle spicy and herbal aromas. Palate: wine with great structure, balance and silky tannins. Long and persistent finish.
