Tutu pays tribute to Miles Davis' famous 1986 album, which in turn pays tribute to the legendary pacifist clergyman Desmond Tutu, who dedicated his life to defending minorities and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. We want our wines to be delicate and transparent, like Miles and Desmond, representing the place where they are born, with their aromas and textures, without additives or embellishments. 100% Semillon from a 95-year-old vineyard in Chilecito. This Semillon comes from a nearly 100-year-old vineyard in Chilecito, Valle de Uco, where the soils have a high content of silt and sand. Fermentation takes place in clay amphorae with indigenous yeasts and in contact with the skins. 90% of the wine is aged in the same amphorae, and the remaining 10% in used French oak barrels for 4 months under flor yeast.
