Champagne M. Haslinger & Fils is a private cuvee — named for winemaker Jean-Remy Rapeneau's mother's maiden name — produced at the historic G.H. Martel Champagne house, founded in 1869 in Avenay, near Epernay; its crayeres were UNESCO-listed in 2015.
Tasting Notes
A red-grape-dominant blend of roughly 40-45% Pinot Noir, 30-35% Pinot Meunier and 15-20% Chardonnay, fermented in small oak cask without malolactic fermentation: powerful and full-bodied with verve and tension across the palate.
