Profile & Story

Francois and Manuela Chidaine farm their estate biodynamically (certified since 1999) near Montrichard and Chissay-en-Touraine in the Loire Valley. Best known for his Montlouis and Vouvray Chenin Blancs, Chidaine also bottles a distinctive Touraine red.

Tasting Notes

A blend of Cot (Malbec), Cabernet Franc and Pineau d'Aunis fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness: dark, concentrated fruit where no single variety dominates, light-bodied and juicy.
