About the Wine

Sensum Laxas is a non-vintage Brut sparkling wine crafted by Bodegas As Laxas in the Condado do Tea sub-region of D.O. Rías Baixas, Spain. It begins with a carefully elaborated base wine made from selected Albariño grapes. The wine then undergoes a secondary fermentation using the Traditional Method (Champenoise), spending nine months on lees (rimes) with periodic riddling. After dégorgement, a dosage of wine and sugar is added to complete the Brut profile. The result is a sparkling wine that preserves the fresh organoleptic identity of Albariño while gaining structure and elegance from the fine carbonic integration. Alcohol content is 12.7%, and the wine contains 8 g/L of residual sugar. Importer (Wine Bridge Imports).
