About the Wine
Pazo de Lusco 2023 is a 100% Albariño from the Condado do Tea subzone in D.O. Rías Baixas, Spain. Grapes are hand-harvested in 17 kg boxes and chilled before processing to prevent premature fermentation. Depending on vineyard and ripeness, batches undergo direct pressing or short/long cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted using selected native yeasts from Lusco’s historic vineyards. The wine is aged on its lees to provide richness and roundness without sacrificing freshness. It has an alcohol content of 12.5%, total acidity of 5.2 g/L, pH of 3.6, volatile acidity of 0.39 g/L, and residual sugar of 1.5 g/L. It is vegan-friendly.
