About the Wine
This red wine from D.O. Rías Baixas, Condado do Tea, is a blend of 75% Brancellao and 25% Caiño Longo. Fermented using wild and native yeasts in open concrete tanks, 60% of the grapes were destemmed and 40% kept with stalks. After traditional foot-treading and a short maceration in clay, the wine completed fermentation in stainless steel, followed by malolactic in barrels. Aged 12 months in used French oak (80%) and stainless steel (20%), it has 12.5% alcohol, 6.5 g/L acidity, and 1 g/L sugar. Released in October 2023, it is a terroir-driven wine with texture, structure, and elegance. Importer (Selection de la Viña).
