Mar de Envero Tinto Barrica 2020 is a red wine made from a blend of Sousón, Mencía, and Pedral grapes, sourced from the Soutomaior subzone of D.O. Rías Baixas. The grapes were harvested on September 9, 2020, then destemmed and crushed. Fermentation took place in concrete tanks with daily punch-downs. On December 15, 2020, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels of 300 and 350 liters, where it aged for 10 months. After barrel aging, the wine rested for an additional 10 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling on August 25, 2022. The wine contains 12% alcohol, 6.3 g/L total acidity, a pH of 3.55, and 1.3 g/L residual sugar. Only 1,400 bottles were produced.
