Domaine Beau Mistral Rasteau
Rhone, France
Situated at the foot of the village of Rasteau between Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine, Domaine Beau Mistral boasts 28 hectares of vines in several southern Rhône Valley appellations, and occupies a prime position alongside the region's other famous crus, such as Châteauneuf du Pape and Gigondas. Born into a family of winegrowers spanning several generations, Jean-Marc Brun was given the opportunity to create his own winery in 1999, in order to produce wines in his own image, while celebrating the Mistral on his labels. Domaine Beau Mistral was born. Since then, the greatest care has been taken in cultivation and vinification. The vineyard, made up of several parcels of old vines, some of which are between 60 and 90 years old, extends over most of the village's land.
