Domaine de Cristia is the result of three generations of the Grangeon family. Vines were established in the 1940's and the Domaine later in 2000, and currently has Estate vineyards located in Chateauneuf du Pape. We are certified organic farming since 2008, and growing vine on sandy soils in the North East of the Appellation, it is unique compared to the rest of the appellation which are sitting on pebbles and clay. The real signature of the domain is that we are focusing on making ready to drink chateauneuf du Pape, the vineyards benefit from a north-easterly exposure, giving the vines freshness and producing grapes and wines with supple, elegant tannins.
