Profile & Story
Flavio Fanti and his wife Carla Visconti took over the family farm -- previously cheese and livestock -- in 1984 and built La Palazzetta in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, one of Montalcino's lower-elevation, warmer subzones, now farming 40 organically-worked hectares. This Brunello is 100% Sangiovese from estate fruit, aged per the appellation's minimum requirements.
