Profile & Story
Andrea Franchetti founded Passopisciaro on Mount Etna after establishing Tenuta di Trinoro in Tuscany. Passobianco is 100% Chardonnay planted on steep terraces of loose, mineral-rich volcanic soil in the Contrada Guardiola at 850-1,000 meters, first produced in 2007.
Tasting Notes
A linear, volcanic Chardonnay with subtle aromas of toasted nut, eucalyptus and white stone fruit, built to evolve with age like the great whites of Burgundy.
