Profile & Story
San Salvatore 1988 was founded by Giuseppe Pagano in the Cilento National Park near Paestum, Campania, and named for his son Salvatore. 'Vetere' takes its name from Magliano Vetere, a small Cilento town near the estate's organic Cannito vineyards; it is 100% Aglianico, cold-macerated for about six hours and gently pressed for a brief skin contact.
Tasting Notes
Intense notes of fresh strawberry and raspberry with delicate floral and lightly spicy accents; elegant, fresh and persistent on the palate with a long finish.
