Francesco Tonelli has made wine from local Marche varieties at Villa Ligi since 1985, helping establish the small Pergola appellation; his son Stefano, a trained oenologist, now leads the estate. Albaspino is made from 100% Biancame (Bianchello) grapes grown in the Montalfoglio zone of the Bianchello del Metauro DOC.
