Grooner is produced by Weingut Forstreiter, a family estate on the banks of the Danube in Krems-Hollenburg (Kremstal) that has made wine since 1868; current winemaker Meinhard Forstreiter has built the estate's modern reputation. This 100% Gruner Veltliner is bottled under screwcap (RS 2.9 g/L, TA 6.4 g/L) from Niederosterreich fruit.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of green apples, pears, white pepper and citrus peel; light and crisp on the palate with bright acidity and a subtle mineral edge.
