Profile & Story

Veuve Ambal was founded in Burgundy in 1898 by Marie Ambal and is today the market leader and largest producer of Cremant de Bourgogne. This Blanc de Blancs Brut blends Chardonnay and Aligote from roughly 25-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils, aged at least 18 months on lees.

Tasting Notes

Slightly golden yellow color with notes of white flowers on the nose; citrus and lime on the palate with a mineral, dried-fruit finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Recommended as an aperitif, with fresh oysters, salmon tartare with lime, or scallop carpaccio with olive oil.
