Cavas Blancher was founded in 1955 by Antonio Capdevila Pujol and Teresa Blancher Solanes in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, the heart of Cava country, and is now run by the third generation of the Carbo Planas family. The house produces only reserva and gran reserva cavas, handling every step from pressing to labeling in its own cellars, built with traditional Catalan vaulted architecture. This Reserva Brut Natural, a blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada, ages more than 20 months in the family's cellars and carries the name of company founder Antoni Capdevila Pujol.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow with golden reflections and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is elegant, with aromas of white fruit and notes of toasted bread; the palate is fresh and creamy, closing on a long, persistent finish.
