Profile & Story
Torralbenc is a small winery and agritourism estate in Alaior, on the island of Menorca, releasing its first vintage in 2016 from 14 hectares of vineyard after more than a decade of research reviving the island's winemaking tradition. This rose blends hand-selected Syrah, Monastrell, and Merlot, given a brief cold skin maceration before direct pressing, fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature, then aged on its lees before blending and bottling.
Tasting Notes
A pale rose with salmon hues, clean and bright. The nose shows medium intensity with white floral notes of jasmine and mandarin peel alongside redcurrant, white pepper, and fennel. The palate is fresh and structured, with citrus and fruit notes, an enveloping mouthfeel, and a saline, mineral-tinged finish that lingers.
