Pares Balta is a family-owned winery in Penedes, farming organically and biodynamically since the family took over the estate, with vineyard roots dating to 1790. The Materia Prima line is the winery's natural-wine project: minimal-intervention wines made without added sulfites. This Orange bottling is made from Xarel-lo grown on forty-year-old vines, co-fermented naturally with its own skins and a small portion of Gewurztraminer skins, then macerated for roughly two months in stainless steel before a light filtration and bottling.
