Casa Balaguer (Finca Casa Balaguer, part of the Vinessens natural-wine project on Spain's Alicante coast, founded by Andres Carull and Marta Ribera) farms organically and biodynamically with local grape varieties, working low-intervention with wild ferments and no filtration. Tragolargo Blanco is a blend of Moscatel and Malvasia fermented with native yeasts on skins for about a month in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes
Cloudy appearance with a bright amber color from the short skin-contact maceration; aromas of orange blossom and fennel with delicate floral notes; vibrant citrus and tropical fruit flavors (grapefruit, mandarin, apricot) with light acidity, smooth tannins and a medium finish.
