Bodegas y Vinedos Gomez Cruzado is a historic Rioja winery in Haro's Barrio de la Estacion. Blanco blends old bush vines around Haro (limestone soils) and the Alto Najerilla (clay-ferrous soils), hand-picked in 200kg crates with hand sorting. Grapes are lightly pressed with minimal SO2 and undergo spontaneous fermentation split between 25% French barriques and stainless steel at 15C, then aged three months in French oak on lees plus further aging in concrete on lees. 13.5% ABV. The 2024 blend is approximately 70% Viura, 25% Tempranillo Blanco and 5% Garnacha Blanca.
