Profile & Story
La Staffa was founded in 1994 by the Baldi family in the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico zone of the Marche. Farmed organically on limestone-rich clay at roughly 400m, the wine ferments with indigenous yeasts in acacia and cement vessels and rests on its own lees for several months before release.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and flavorful, with fruity, well-defined aromas rich in notes of flint and straw.
