Profile & Story
Laetitia Ourliac and Rodolphe Gianesini farm 15 ha of certified-organic vines at Escales in the Languedoc, amid woods and olive groves, with low-intervention cellar work. Premier Jus blends Carignan and Grenache on calcareous soil and blue marl: the Carignan is whole-cluster fermented for two days, then submerged in fermenting Grenache before pressing; aged 6 months in barrique and bottled without added sulfites (12.5% ABV).
Tasting Notes
Vibrant ruby; notes of red fruits such as cranberry and cherry with subtle earthy undertones; light-bodied, with red-berry flavour, a characteristic Languedoc spiciness and lively acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
Pizza night, Korean barbecue, or daube de boeuf provencale (Provencal beef stew).
