La Rural was founded in 2018 by brothers Andreu and Xavi Padro, who left careers in architecture and mechanics for their family's four-generation organic farm in Santes Creus, Alt Camp (Tarragona). This is 100% Sumoll from 54-year-old vines on clay and limestone at 422 m, hand-harvested and destemmed, gently macerated for 8 months in underground stainless steel and bottled without fining, filtration or added sulfites.
